EaseOfBiz (“we”, “us”) operates a platform connecting creators, brands, and institutions. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We are committed to complying with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) for users in India, alongside applicable data protection law for users elsewhere.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Profile information you choose to publish: handle, bio, city, niche, avatar, and portfolio/project details.
- Transaction data for bookings, digital product purchases, and event tickets, processed by our payment partners.
- Messages you send to other users through the platform's messaging feature.
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) used for security, fraud prevention, and rate limiting.
How we use it
We use your data to operate the platform: to display your public profile, process payments and payouts, send transactional emails (login codes, booking confirmations, receipts), prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Cashfree and PhonePe (for INR transactions) and PayPal (for USD transactions). We do not store your card or bank account details — these are handled directly by our payment partners under their own security and privacy standards.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Note that some information tied to a completed transaction (e.g. order and payout records) may be retained as required by applicable financial and tax law, even after an account is deleted.
