The University of Hyderabad (UoH), fondly called "Hyderabad Central" by its community, is a premier central university established in 1974 under an Act of Parliament. Spread across a breathtaking 2,300-acre forested campus in Gachibowli, UoH is one of India's most beautiful and ecologically rich academic settings, home to over 2,500 species of flora and fauna alongside its 5,500+ students and faculty.
