24 is an American action-thriller series created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran for Fox, built around the real-time conceit of covering one 24-hour crisis per season through split-screen storytelling. Kiefer Sutherland starred throughout as counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer. The series ran nine seasons from 2001 to 2010, returned for a 2014 event series (Live Another Day), and included the TV movie 24: Redemption as a bridge between seasons six and seven.
