Philologist Dr. Elwin Ransom travels to Mars, Venus, and confronts cosmic evil on Earth itself.</p><ul><li><strong>Out of the Silent Planet (1938):</strong> Ransom is kidnapped to Malacandra (Mars) and discovers alien cultures untouched by the Fall.</li><li><strong>Perelandra (1943):</strong> Ransom travels to Perelandra (Venus) to prevent a Satanic temptation of its unfallen Eve.</li><li><strong>That Hideous Strength (1945):</strong> A sinister technocratic institute plots to enslave Britain; Merlin and Arthurian forces intervene.</li></ul>
