The Name of the Game is an American drama that aired on NBC from 1968 to 1971, rotating its 90-minute episodes between three leads -- Gene Barry, Robert Stack and Tony Franciosa -- in an early example of the wheel-series format. At the time it carried the largest budget of any television series, and it helped establish the format later used by The Bold Ones and The NBC Mystery Movie.
