College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET), established in 1939, is one of India's oldest and most prestigious government engineering colleges. Affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and granted autonomous status, CET is the flagship engineering institution of Kerala and has maintained its position as one of the state's top engineering colleges for over eight decades. Located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram at Sreekariyam, 5 km from the city centre, CET occupies a 72-acre campus with heritage buildings, modern labs, and sports facilities. CET offers B.Tech in 13 branches including CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, and Chemical Engineering. M.Tech programmes are offered in 20+ specialisations. The institute holds NBA accreditation for multiple programmes and NAAC B++ at the institutional level (as an autonomous college under KTU). CET's proximity to ISRO VSSC (3 km), VSSC, and Technopark (Kerala's IT hub, 4 km) provides outstanding industry connect. Technopark Phase I–III, adjacent to the campus, employs 65,000 IT professionals, many of whom are CET alumni.
